Keeping Our Promise to America's Veterans
The Committee is
established in response to the ongoing challenges of access to Veterans Affairs
benefits and healthcare, mental health services, employment, housing, and
geographic limitations to advocate for the improvement of the quality of life
and level of care for the veterans of Pasco County Florida by serving as a
formal liaison between the veteran community and state and federal legislators.
As an organization established by veterans for veterans, The Committee shall
ensure veteran voices are heard in county decision-making, advocate for
policies that support veteran wellbeing, and develop innovative approaches to
veteran challenges.

To fulfill its
intended purpose The Committee shall:
a. Compile data to identify negative trends and shortfalls related to veteran services and advocate for positive change at the local, state, and federal level
b. Serve as a direct link between the county’s veteran community and local government.
c. Maintain a comprehensive database of local veteran services and provide an easily accessible repository of information.
